Gibson Certified Vintage 1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard, Goldtop

1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard, Goldtop, Serial Number 6 2881

This 1956 Gibson Les Paul™ Goldtop is a super cool, gently worn-in, all-original example of Gibson’s most iconic solidbody design. Weighing under 9 pounds, it's a comfortable player with a stunning gold finish that shows light wear all around, with heavy, even vertical checking across the entire instrument, front and back.

The guitar is overall in great playing shape with nicks and dings throughout and light wear on the back of the body and neck. The side near the lower strap button and input jack has slightly heavier wear, consistent with the guitar as a whole. The original no-line Kluson® tuners have tarnished and brassed out heavily, with the G tuner showing a very slight bend to the button shaft. Sonically, this Goldtop is exceptionally resonant acoustically and really lively plugged in.

Comes with its original Lifton™ brown and pink case, along with a Certificate of Authenticity, Letter of Appraisal, and new Limited Lifetime Warranty.
