Upon its debut in the mid-1950s, the Gibson Country Western brought a touch of elegance to the flat-top acoustic lineup with its natural finish and refined appointments. This Gibson Certified Vintage 1968 Country Western is a very clean example of the square-shouldered version of this classic model. With almost no visible playwear, it’s a beautiful player-grade acoustic featuring a rosewood fretboard and bridge and original jumbo frets in excellent shape.
The guitar has had a few minimal repairs, including a reglued bridge and a small crack at the top of the sound hole that has been reglued and cleated. These repairs have been professionally handled, leaving the guitar stable, clean, and ready to play.
Includes the original chipboard case as well as a new Lifton™ black and gold dreadnought case, along with a Certificate of Authenticity, Letter of Appraisal, and new Limited Lifetime Warranty.
